B i o g r a p h y

Pazit Golda Smillie is an Israeli-born, Canadian musician, singer and songwriter. She studied Piano, Music Theory and Voice,  and performed in local theatre companies.  Pazit attended Brock University where she received her BA and BEd.

After several years of honing her songwriting skills, Pazit began showcasing her original songs at such venues as the Niagara Art Centre's "Women In Music" and Brock Centre For The Arts' "Niagara Weave". Known for her emotional ballads and mezzo-soprano vocal range, Pazit was the Niagara Music Awards' 2012 Female Vocalist of the Year.

Pazit does not perform on the Sabbath, or Jewish holidays.
 
Pazit has been happily married for twenty years to DovBer Smillie and has two wonderful children, Sarah and Ben. She currently resides in Hamilton, Ontario with her family.
